Once you know how green your school is, you can start taking action! You;ll need a team of people, so talking with student organizations or your friends is the best place to begin. Ask your student government, service club, key club, green club, science club, etc. what they are doing to green your school. Join an existing project or start your own!

Green Your School Competition
HPHS challenges high school and technical college students to implement sustainability projects at their schools through its Green Your School (GYS) Competition. Students present their projects at the Career Expo in Atlanta, and the winners receive recognition and great prizes! Form your team now!
Green Cup Challenge
This national contest, sponsored by the Green Schools Alliance, challenges student to reduce waste and air pollution through its Recycling and Energy Challenges.
The Clean Air Campaign challenges students to reduce air pollution by choosing clean modes of transportation. Enter video and art competitions and track clean commutes (walking, biking, carpooling, bus riding) to school to earn AirCreds and win cool prizes.
